Like many women in history, women in the STEM fields have too rarely been recognized and celebrated for their contributions. During Women’s History Month (March) we want to celebrate those women that have contributed to things we use everyday, like the internet, search engines, modern computer operating systems, and more.  ![Women in Tech History Timeline.](https://blog.imon.net/hs-fs/hubfs/Women%20in%20Tech%20History%20Timeline..jpg?width=5000&name=Women%20in%20Tech%20History%20Timeline..jpg)   Topics: [technology](https://blog.imon.net/tag/technology), [women](https://blog.imon.net/tag/women) ## Follow ImOn Insider The ImOn Insider blog is your go-to resource to maximize your ImOn experience through actionable, relevant content on Internet and cable TV trends, insights, news and tips.  ### Subscribe to ImOn Insider! ### Recent Posts ### Posts by Topic - [Internet (63)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/internet) - [Cable TV (46)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/cable-tv) - [Computers (38)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/computers) - [ImOn Communications (33)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/imon-communications) - [Apps (20)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/apps) - [TV Everywhere (19)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/tv-everywhere) - [technology (14)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/technology) - [Holidays (5)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/holidays) - [Wi-Fi (5)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/wi-fi) - [security (5)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/security) - [School (3)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/school) - [Uncategorized (3)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/uncategorized) - [Community (2)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/community) - [movies (2)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/movies) - [Random Acts of Kindness (1)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/random-acts-of-kindness) - [Travel (1)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/travel) - [Volunteering (1)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/volunteering) - [bandwidth (1)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/bandwidth) - [nonprofit (1)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/nonprofit) - [women (1)](https://blog.imon.net/tag/women) see all Content Title Description < Previous page Next page > [![ImOn Logo](https://blog.imon.net/hubfs/2020/logo.png)](https://blog.imon.net/) ### Contact - ImOn Communications - 101 3rd Avenue SW, Suite 400 - Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 - Email: [support@imon.net](mailto:support@imon.net) ### Customer Care Call Center - Residential Customers [**319-298-6484**](tel:319-298-6484) - Cedar Rapids Business [**319-261-2249**](tel:319-261-2249) - Iowa City Business [**319-261-4610**](tel:319-261-4610) - Dubuque Business [**563-239-9150**](tel:563-239-9150) - After Hours [**319-298-6484**](tel:319-298-6484) ### Call Center Hours - Mon-Thu **8am-7pm** - Sat **8am-6pm** - Sat **9am-Noon** - Sun **Closed** --- ### Residential - [Cedar Rapids Metro](https://imon.net/residential/cedar-rapids-metro) - [Iowa City](https://imon.net/residential/iowa-city) - [Dubuque](https://imon.net/residential/dubuque) - [Address Finder](https://imon.net/address-finder) - [Speed Analyzer](https://imon.net/analyzer) ### Business - [Cedar Rapids Metro - Business](http://imon.net/business/cedar-rapids-metro) - [Iowa City - Business](http://imon.net/business/iowa-city) - [Dubuque - Business](http://imon.net/business/dubuque) ### Wholesale - [Municipal Broadband Utilities](http://imon.net/wholesale/municipal-broadband) - [Independent Telephone Companies](http://imon.net/wholesale/independent-telephone-companies) - [CLEC Services](http://imon.net/wholesale/CLEC-services) ### The ImOn Difference - [Who We Are](http://imon.net/imon-difference/who-we-are) - [ImOn in the Community](http://imon.net/imon-difference/imon-community) - [Careers](http://imon.net/imon-difference/careers) - [News & Events](http://imon.net/imon-difference/news-events) - [Terms & Conditions](http://imon.net/imon-difference/residential-terms-conditions) ### Support - [Customer Support](http://imon.net/support/customer-support) - [Payment Options](http://imon.net/support/payment-options) - [Contact Us](http://imon.net/support/contact-us) [![](https://blog.imon.net/hubfs/2020/imon-facebook.png)](https://www.facebook.com/ImOnCommunications) [![](https://blog.imon.net/hubfs/2020/imon-twitter.png)](https://twitter.com/ImOn_Comm) [![](https://blog.imon.net/hubfs/2020/imon-linkedin.png)](https://www.linkedin.com/company/imon-communications) 172.16.3.104Copyright © 2019 ImOn.
